2012: A Year of Embracement and Prosperity

Because I can’t truly say I’ve followed through all my new years resolutions in the past (especially exercise…gahhhdayum), I’ve decided to enter this new year with a motto.

My motto for 2012:  Live in Embracement and Prosperity.
Two simple words with so much meaning.
.
  • 1. Embracement
To embrace is to take up willingly and eagerly

Opportunities arise in every single moment of our lives, and it is up to us to recognize them, seize them, and embrace them.  To make the most out of our lives is to take every opportunity that we can and embrace it.  So live every day with the fuck it, thug lyfe, you only live once mentality as you venture out and try new things.  The most random, unplanned,  and unexpected things can turn out to be your best memories.
  • 2. Prosperity:
To prosper is to succeed, thrive, grow strong, and flourish

Change is inevitable and can happen at any moment of our lives.  A change can be something we specifically pursue or something that takes us completely by surprise, one we can accept or one we can refuse to be true, for better or for worse.  But we should not dwell on what meaning a certain change brings to our life.  Instead, we must focus on what that change offers us … and that is the opportunity to progress.
What defines us is not the changes we go through, but how we grow and prosper. And although at times change may not be an option,  growth is.  How we handle, react, and learn from a situation is the true way to blossom in our true beauty. Not responding to change is rejecting the invitation to prosper.
Embracement and Prosperity will bring us the countless memories and possibly life changing experiences and will help us find the proud person seek to be.

In wealth and health, may 2012 be of embracement and prosperity.
